Apps are published under Bio-Connections owned by BioXing.

The purpose of the mobile app is to provide a tool to facilitate accessing fungicide and element data through a number of database query views. The views are derived from querying an embedded relational database that contains the fungicide data shown in the list on the left side.. For example, the Properties panel view on the right shows data for  flutolanil in the 'Rhizoctonia and other diseases' class.

Most of the views have multiple panels that are accessed via tapping on the title of the panel or using a swipe gesture to move the panel into view. For example, in the data view tapping on the 'Classes' title will display the Class-View which contains a list of classes or tapping on the 'Fungicides' title will display a list of fungicides for the currently selected class. In typical usage, tapping on a class name to select it will automatically move the 'Fungicides' panel into view and then tapping on a fungicide name to select it will automatically move the 'Properties' panel into view. Navigating to select another class or fungicide is facilitated through tapping on the their respective panel title or swipe gesture.

Note:

  1. Symbol next to fungicide name indicates that it belongs to more than one class.
  2. The number in parenthesis after the name is its position within the periodic table.
  3. Colored bars above and below fungicide name and class reflect the Class color.

The following is a link to the listing of the Fungicide App in the Microsoft Phone App Store that shows views contained in the App:

The WinPhone version contains the following informational and usage views.

bulletInteractive Periodic Table of Fungicides which shows all of fungicides displayed as a Periodic Table where the fungicides are grouped by classes. Each color coded column is linked to a class and a class may have more than one column. Due to the small screen size that phones have the view has been designed to be scrollable in x and y directions and scalable. Tapping on a fungicide cell in the table will automatically move to a data view that shows all of the properties of the fungicide along with its molecular structure. In the data view there are navigation buttons for quickly navigating to other fungicides within a class or navigating to the previous/next fungicide in the table. Also, a position number can be entered to quickly get to a fungicide with a known position number.
bulletA class view which lists all of the classes with its color code. Selecting a class will display a list of fungicides by name in that class. Tapping on a fungicide name in that list will automatically move to a data view that shows all of the properties of the fungicide along with its molecular structure.
bulletA Crop view which lists all of the crops contained in the crop/use property across all fungicides.  Selecting a crop will display a list of fungicides by name for that crop. Tapping on a fungicide name in that list will automatically move to a data view that shows all of the properties of the fungicide along with its molecular structure.
bulletAn alphabetical search by fungicide name view. Tapping on a fungicide name in that alphabetical list will automatically move to a data view that shows all of the properties of the fungicide along with its molecular structure.
bulletA list of classes with their color codes and descriptions.
bulletInteractive Periodic Table of Elements where selecting an element will move to a data view showing element properties.  In the data view there are navigation buttons for quickly navigating to other elements within a group or navigating to the previous/next element in the table. Also, an atomic number can be entered to quickly get to an element with a known atomic number.
bulletA list of element groups with their color codes and descriptions.
bulletA number of other supporting help views including useful links and contact information.
