Sample Lab Book

The sample lab book allows the author (user or contact) to add notes pertaining to a sample, selected samples or a batch of samples. Notes can not be edited.

A single sample can be selected by simply entering its BxS-ID which will automatically display the company, project and all other samples, in the batch numbers and authors in the project. An author needs to be selected and then simply type in the notes or paste them in from another source.

A second method is to select a company, then a project which will then automatically display all samples, batch numbers and authors in the project.

	If a batch number is selected then all samples in the batch will be automatically be selected. Any notes entered by the selected author will apply to all samples in the batch.
	One or more samples can be selected using the Ctrl or Shift with the Left Mouse Button. Any notes entered by the selected author will apply to all selected samples.

Clicking on Add Note will add the notes for the samples to the database. Below the data entry table is a list of all notes for all samples. The notes for Item N = 3 shows two authors notes.

Other capabilities such as adding tables, graphs and images are currently being developed.
